Cop These Tips for Flawless Transitional Styling

Featured, Persons of Interest, Street Style  /   /  By Sarah Wetmore

With summer on its way out and fall headed straight for us, we’re in search of street style inspiration that will help us transition from sunny picnic-in-the-park days to cooler crisper climates that demand more layers and cozier textures. The formula featured here is as close to a no-fail recipe as we could find in our photo archives. We can appreciate the seasonal duality that’s seamlessly represented in this ensemble. An out-of-office mindset is clearly represented in the tan-colored woven tote bag, and a beach-ready pedicure is on full display in some of the most artistic mixed media sandals we’ve ever seen!

Can we talk about these shoes for a minute? They certainly deserve the attention. There are so many elements working together here, and we’re mesmerized by the ladylike combination created. Holographic ankle straps meet gracefully floral-patterned block heels meet sequined geometric straps. Simply beautiful! But what keeps this effortlessly chic outfit grounded and appropriate for the first days of fall is the rust-colored sweater that tops a pair of pink travel theme-printed breezy trousers. The cheery feminine color scheme helps tie the entire look together, and we couldn’t be any more on board with this transitional strategy.
