Every fall, we look to the runway and the streets to see what must-have jacket we need for the season. This year, one thing was clear at New York Fashion Week. The classic leather biker jacket is still the one to beat. Here are a few of our favorite ways to wear this sexy wardrobe standby:

Mommy On Duty. A comfy look perfect for running around with little ones in tow. The leather topper makes this outfit look more put together and less “I’m a mama with nothing to wear.”

Sheer Genius. Seductive with coverage, how is that possible? Take this night out look for a spin with the marble clutch and Aquazzura cage sandals as the ideal accents.

Tie It Up. Tomboy chic at its finest. A crepe blouse and creeper oxfords with matching bowties? Perfect for the 9-5 or after hours.

School Girl Crush. A modern take on Cher Horowitz’ classic collared shirt and plaid mini combo. Isabel Marant hoops add the right amount of edge.

Rock ‘N Tulle. Edgy doesn’t have to mean scary. Balance a gothic tulle skirt with a simple destructed tee.

Gala Night. Channel your inner diva. For each and every once-in-a-lifetime event, you should have an outfit to match.

Persuede. Western, boho, and minimalist all rolled into one outfit. This is a look we’d wear over and over again.

London’s Calling. A corduroy skater dress with metallic oxfords? We can see our British gals across the pond wearing this ‘fit.

Grey Days. Office wear doesn’t have to be boring. Stick to a monochrome two-piece set and add smart accessories.

Green with Envy. You don’t have to sacrifice color just because temps have fallen. Tan and gold work perfectly with black and emerald green.

Play It Cool. Silver metal embellishments tie this look together while Saint Laurent checkered sneakers add a playful vibe.
