I love a great denim jacket. It goes with almost everything in my wardrobe and can make any outfit feel casual and cool. Last season, I saw denim jackets with allover patches from my favorite designers like Saint Laurent and Marc Jacobs. Check out how to update a jean jacket yourself below to join in this fun trend for Spring.
- Denim Jacket
- Variety of Patches
- Iron (with steam option)
- Sewing Needle
- Parchment Paper
1. Place the patches onto the jacket to create the layout you desire.
2. I chose all iron on patches for my DIY. Cut a piece of parchment paper slightly larger than your largest patch.
3. Place the parchment paper on one of your patches, then press the iron down onto the patch (at medium heat). Let steam for a couple of seconds. Then, let cool. Repeat for each patch.
