A sgroppino is common in Italy as a palate cleanser, a dessert, or a pre-dinner drink. When I first tasted a sgroppino, it instantly became one of my favorite cocktails for a hot summer day. It is so delicious, refreshing, and really easy to make. It is always a hit when I have friends over for a pool day!
