A sgroppino is common in Italy as a palate cleanser, a dessert, or a pre-dinner drink. When I first tasted a sgroppino, it instantly became one of my favorite cocktails for a hot summer day. It is so delicious, refreshing, and really easy to make. It is always a hit when I have friends over for a pool day!
- 3 oz. chilled prosecco
- 1 oz. chilled vodka
- 1 scoop of lemon sorbet
- champagne flute
- ice cream scooper
- fresh mint
1. Pour the prosecco and vodka into the champagne flute.
2. Add a scoop of lemon sorbet.
3. Top it off with cut fresh mint.
4. Garnish the flute with a small lemon slice.
Raise your glass to a beautiful summer!
