Some bright lipsticks to bring color to monochromatic winter outfits.

A Patek Phillipe Twenty watch. It’s effortlessly elegant, timeless, and made to pass on through generations.

A vintage mink stole. The former owner had her name embroidered in the lining: Lucky Watson. What a great name! Every time I wear it, I wonder who Lucky was and where she wore that stole.

Uggs. No. Just no.

A river cruise down the Nile.

Boston! There are so many wonderful local designers, fashion entrepreneurs and boutiques. Bostonians have a bad rap when it comes to style, but the Hub is actually a very chic city. Take a stroll in the South End and you’ll see all kinds of looks: preppy, hip-hop, rock n’ roll, nerd-chic, brahmin classic, urban sophisticate… and okay, a few Red Sox caps.
