Spied on the Street: Pink Riot

Persons of Interest, Street Style  /   /  By Nina Louie

When she sheds that coat, it will be pink in full force: bold, unexpected, and happy. Everything else she’s wearing makes all that pink possible—from the plush green coat and pointy black boots, to the Bordeaux bag and sharp (chic!) little bob, to the vertical stripes on her tote. All are gorgeous graphic counterpoints to the stickiest sweetest hue. The moral of this street style story? When you think pink, consider your accoutrements carefully. And then go for it!

I would use the prize money for all my Christmas shopping. It would be a great help! I have never won anything before so wish me luck. Thank you!

I have always LOVED the combination of pink and green–it is one of my fondest fashion memories. Ever since a hand-picked dress I wore from Marshall Field’s, Chicago, when I was eight, to a Mother’s Day luncheon with my mom and sister. It was sleeveless with a solid white top, pink flared bottom, and a stunning wide green sash at the waist! Gorgeous!! It has remained a favorite color pairing to this day. Glad to see this!
