NYFW Street Style: Black-On-Black Behind the Lens Inspiration

Featured, Persons of Interest, Street Style  /   /  By Ashley Mariano

What would fashion week be without the street style snappers? While Bill Cunningham likes to stick to his classic bright blue jacket and khaki combo, most other photographers like to blend in and go for a darker color palette. We spotted this dreamy photog during NYFW and had to turn the camera on her. Although she chose a monochromatic all-black look, her outfit is far from boring. Let’s peek behind the lens and see what fun details make up her ‘fit.

She started off her look strong with a Rick Owens hoodie and this isn’t just any ol’ jacket. It features a full zip that goes all the way to the top of the hood, perfect for an NY winter.

Much like last season, everyone is still sporting Adidas Originals, but now they often have a twist. With a little digging, we found her exact pair of cheetah Superstars on eBay. You’re welcome! Don’t the sneakers pair so well with her of-the-moment raw-hem crop jeans?

To finish, she went with a practical but polished Givenchy backpack. We’re adding this luscious leather piece and the frayed jeans to our never-ending wishlist. Oh, fashion week: you are so very dangerous for our bank accounts but so so fun for our Pinterest boards.
