NYFW Street Style: Suit Up

Street style in NYC is unlike anywhere else. Case in point: this minimalist beauty who was ahead of the trends before NYFW even began. As we mentioned last week, one of our favorite looks from the runways was the matching skirt suit combo. And Michelle Madsen’s vintage ’70s spin on the trend was absolutely gorgeous. The Take Aim blogger wore this M.i.h Jeans suede set for the occasion of Aurora James’ dreamy safari-inspired Brothers Vellies presentation in February.

One thing we love about this outfit is that it can effortlessly transition from winter to spring, which isn’t always the easiest task. When temps rise, drop the fur vest and swap out the knee-highs for platform sandals, and you’re good to go. The fringe backpack can stay—it’s the perfect combination of modern-meets-boho whatever the season.
