NYFW Street Style: YASSS to Fringe Jeans

Charlotte Groeneveld’s blog, The Fashion Guitar, is a treasure trove for every street style fan and we were so thrilled to spot her in NYC last week. As a New Yorker by way of The Netherlands, Charlotte perfectly mixes American and European styles in a nonchalant way.

This look features her everyday style, which consists of “designer shoes, simple jeans, knits, and a designer bag.” In this case, her designer extras stopped us in our tracks. We had to get a picture of her minimalist Celine slip-ons and that showstopping floral handbag, which is by Nancy Gonzalez.

As no stranger to cold weather, Charlotte definitely knows a thing or two about layering. “Without heat-tech layers you are nowhere,” she says. And ain’t that the truth? In this look she tops heaven-sent Uniqlo heattech under layers with a Zara knit and Belstaff coat.

Our favorite part of her outfit? Those lustworthy frayed-hem jeans that literally everyone was wearing during this NYFW and last. One look at Charlotte’s outfit and you can see why the 3×1 pair is so popular.
