“Right now, nails seem be leading the beauty market in terms of creative ideas, color, and pizazz—and I’m riding the wave! It’s a form of self-expression I love, almost like an art form! Plus, from brights to nudes to blacks, there’s trend to match every gal’s style. Read on to recreate two of my top favorite trends!” – Meg, Fashion Editor

GLITTER GAGA: Metallic Glitter Nails

Get gold-on-gold sparkle in three simple steps! Remember before you start any nail art you must first clean each nail w/nail polish remover and file the edges so nails are pristine and prepped for action. This is key. You need the perfect blank canvas to paint on!

1. Paint one coat of light GOLD GLITTER POLISH onto the nail.

2. Before the polish dries completely, use a nail art brush to coat the nail with LOOSE GOLD GLITTER. (Or try a color to give it a different hit! Get creative with pink or turquoise or white sparkles!)

3. Lastly, leave your nails shiny and sealed with a clear TOPCOAT.

COLOR ME PRETTY: Fluorescent French Manicure

This is an interesting design since everyone’s nail bed is a different length. The longer your nails, the more dainty your moons will look in a neon shade. Try it with acrylic tips or your natural nails.

1. Paint one coat of NUDE POLISH (pale pink or beige) over your entire nail. My favorite brand is OPI! Let nails dry.

2. Once dry, paint your tips (in typical French manicure fashion) and moons (the tiny crescents at the base of each nail) with a BEAUTIFUL BRIGHT COLOR (or two!). Fluorescent shades are quite eye catching.

3. Lastly, leave your nails shiny and sealed with a clear TOPCOAT.
