Delicate florals reminiscent of grandma’s porcelain are having a Devil-Wears-Prada moment. We noticed them on the runways a couple years ago—Rodarte made our favorite versions. Exquisite gowns in teacup white and blue, delicate as china, full of lace and intricate embroidery. It was easy to imagine marrying in one—they were that kind of special.
And now, here they are: ultra-wearable, everyday variations on the same theme. Porcelain and china-inspired floral blouses, dresses, pants by Zara. Two years later, they’re still a welcome sight—a fresh take on florals to add into the mix for spring. We love the luxe fabrics—silky and louche—and can’t wait to wear them with soft, faded denim and bold color clutches and flats.
